What the report shows

Everything you need to know in one email

  • A one-line headline, such as "10 objects need attention today. Everything else backed up on time."
  • Your overall compliance score and how it moved since yesterday.
  • Compliant, non-compliant and total protected objects.
  • Results by service: each Microsoft 365, Google Workspace and QuickBooks service with its own score.
  • Needs attention: every failing object, grouped by service.
  • The full data as a CSV, attached to every email.
The compliance score

One number that answers "are we protected?"

Your compliance score is the percentage of protected objects (each mailbox, OneDrive, SharePoint site, Team and QuickBooks company) that were backed up within the 24-hour backup SLA. If 129 of 139 objects backed up on time, your compliance score is 93%. Anything below 100% is listed by name in the report, and our UK team picks it up and fixes it. Our guide What is a backup compliance score? explains the calculation in full.

Report history

Every report kept, ready for audits, insurers and the board

Every daily report we have sent is kept in your CloudVision portal. Filter by the last 30 days, this quarter, this year or all time, show only the days below 100%, email the latest report to a colleague, and export to PDF or Excel when an auditor, a cyber insurer or your board asks what was protected and when. Our guide to backup evidence for UK insurers and auditors sets out what they look for.

Everywhere you are

The same view on the web, iOS and Android

The live dashboard behind the report is on the web and in the CloudVision app for iOS and Android: your score, every service and anything failing, wherever you are. It is written for IT teams and non-technical leaders alike.

FAQ

Daily Backup Report: common questions

What is a backup compliance score?

The percentage of your protected objects that were backed up within the 24-hour backup SLA. If 129 of 139 objects backed up on time, your compliance score is 93%.

If backups run more often than daily, why is the report daily?

Backups run as frequently as real time, but the report gives you one clear checkpoint every morning: every protected object measured against the 24-hour backup SLA, with anything that missed it listed by name. The live dashboard shows the current picture at any time in between.

What happens to the objects listed as needing attention?

Our UK team picks them up and fixes them, 24/7. You see the result in your dashboard and in the next morning's report.

Can I use the reports for an audit or a cyber insurance renewal?

Yes. Every daily report is kept in your portal, filterable by date and exportable to PDF or Excel, so you can show exactly what was protected on any given day.

Which services does the report cover?

Every service CloudVision protects for you: Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams), Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Contacts) and QuickBooks, in one report.
